Attached is an equivalent set of changes for 0.98 with the exception that the
default number of versions in META is kept at 10. (The trunk patch changed that
from 10 to 3.)
Setting Patch Available, note that Jenkins will fail to apply this patch as it
is for 0.98. All 0.98 branch unit tests pass locally.
