[~Prabhu Joseph]
Thanks for the patch. Few things,
With 0.98 setup this issues does not happen. I tried it. So this problem
exists only in 0.94?
Pls update the patch with a test case also. That would give the chance to
understand the issue too. You can see the code and some test cases that (for
eg: TestAdmin), where you can add the above steps you mentioned with the help
of a minicluster and show the problem.
I tried this
{code}
=> Hbase::Table - debugger
hbase(main):002:0> put 'debugger','jdb','d:desc','Java debugger',1399699792000
0 row(s) in 0.1080 seconds
hbase(main):003:0> disable 'debugger'
0 row(s) in 1.6220 seconds
hbase(main):004:0> alter 'debugger',{NAME => 'd',TTL => 69120000}
Updating all regions with the new schema...
1/1 regions updated.
Done.
0 row(s) in 1.4040 seconds
hbase(main):005:0> enable 'debugger'
0 row(s) in 0.6900 seconds
hbase(main):006:0> scan 'debugger'
ROW COLUMN+CELL
0 row(s) in 0.0460 seconds
{code}
and there were no errors in the logs also. Am using 0.98 here.
