Thinking about it:
* if comes with 0.98.9 let's not do. Folks that were on 0.98.8 and were already
broken by this, are now broken again.
* if we do 0.98.8.1 and do it within a few days, let's do it
Probably OK to just not do anything and state "mia culpa".
