Lars Hofhansl commented on HBASE-10554:
---------------------------------------
Yeah, as Andy says, since HBase is a database we have to continue to make
bugfix releases to older releases.
It will become clearer once we switch to semantic versioning, when we'll have
(say) 1.0.1, 1.1.3, 1.2.3, and 2.0.1 out at the same time.
I tried to remove 0.94.23 and add 0.94.25, as described, but I always get:
{noformat}
svn: E175002: PUT request on
'/repos/dist/!svn/txr/7383-6ei/release/hbase/hbase-0.94.25/hbase-0.94.25.tar.gz'
failed: 408 Request Timeout
{noformat}
or
{noformat}
Transmitting file data .svn: E185004: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: E185004: Unexpected end of svndiff input
{noformat}
Is that an issue due to the svn outage?
Sorry for being difficult.
