Thanks [~busbey] Looks like writing datanodes puts a bit of friction on our 
write path.  I wonder how much the ringbuffer+grouping is costing us? Looking 
at the graph, you'd think adding extra WALs would make a bigger difference 
given the large gap between no-friction and one WAL. Good stuff.
