I noticed this after a call with a user going through the 0.94 -> 0.98 upgrade
path. HBASE-8369 introduces the very nice feature of mapreduce over snapshots.
HIVE-6584 adds support to Hive's HBaseStorageHandler. We should mention this
feature in the book, either near "7.4. HBase as a MapReduce Job Data Source and
Data Sink" or in "17.8: HBase Snapshots".
