bq. I think you need to remove all the docbkx stuff from the POMs too, and
remove the src/main/site/docbkx directory.
Done.
bq. You also need to remove the XSLT transform to XML and add the one for
Asciidoc, for hbase-default.xml.
This was done for 0.98 but not 1.0, fixed.
Testing the result.
