Ugh, that sucks. On my local machine I've seen this error very occasionally in
my testing, both before my HBASE-13430 patch and after. Perhaps I've made it
more likely to happen with the changes in configuration parameters.
I currently have no clue whatsoever what would cause this but I can try to poke
at it once I have some free time, provided I can find a way to make it fail
more reliably.
