Most recent patch from RB. All tests are passing.
I will definitely be pulling this into our internal 92 branch and will be
building some other stuff on top of it (compressed cache, etc). It will
probably be easiest to integrate the DeltaEncoding stuff with this in place as
well.
For that reason, I'd be interested in getting it into 92 branch, it should be
low risk.
