Trying to repro these was an exercise in futility.
Couldn't get testParallelWithRetriesHbck to fail at all (and the times it
failed have already run off the jenkins history). Patch attempts to extend the
retry attempts as that's the only thing I could guess as a problem.
I haven't been able to figure out what's going on with
testSplitDaughtersNotInMeta nor reproduce it myself. Nothing in this patch for
that one.
