Sorry for the delay [~gliptak], I've been on holiday.
I'm not sure what you're asking. The book is generated from the maven site
target by the project in git. We then stage and commit the resulting html files
into a separate SVN repo for publishing to the apache servers. I don't know the
status of svn.apache.org re: hbase project, but I suspect it's a svn mirror of
our git repo.
