Thank you [~busbey] for doing this.

I reviewed the changes and I will make sure to follow these examples when I 
make for tests in HBase-Spark.

As for the hbase-annotations, do you think we should add these to the Scala 
tests.  As this is the first Scala tests in HBase I'm not sure what the 
precedent is.  Annotations work in Scala.  Do you think we should have a jira 
to add them to the Scala tests?
