Attachment: HBASE-14394-addendum.patch
Attached an addendum that does it in a different way, similar to
TableInputFormatBase, so that we don't have to worry about compatibility or doc
it.
If you guys like it, I will apply across the branches.
TestMultiTableInputFormat passed well.
