Pushed to master along with the nit that Elliot suggested. Could you prepare a
patch for branch 1.2 and branch 1.3? The master patch does not apply cleanly
using the cherry-pick command of git. If you don't have spare time, let me
know I will rebase the patch accordingly. Thanks.
