[~zhanzhang] help me out here -- where did the warnings you included come from?
was that by adding the -feature flag somehow? is that what the compiler warning
turns into?
I got the ones I quoted from here[1] and compared against the precommit build
of the patch committed right this one here [2].
Looking at the precommit build for HBASE-14849, the warning quote above is
still there [3]
