I see now how our patches are different. I was trying forward-port with
high-fidelity trying to move the branch-1.1 patch to branch-1.1 with all
attendant changes; e.g. having all Tag treatment use one method rather than
copy/paste, removal of DLR methods, removal of methods that have duplicated
functionality (doGet and the new 'get'), sharing methods between slow and fast
route, deprecating old/broke methods, and so on. Your approach has less
attendant risk. Might be better to go your route than mine this late in the 1.2
game.
