Attached v1 patch addressing the review comment.
Tested the patch with PE for the following commands,

hbase org.apache.hadoop.hbase.PerformanceEvaluation --nomapred --table=TestPerf
--presplit=134 --rows=1000000 randomWrite 20
hbase org.apache.hadoop.hbase.PerformanceEvaluation --nomapred --table=TestPerf
--addColumns=false --filterAll --rows=1000 scanRange10000 20

Did not find any impact in the performance with the patch.

Note: I have tested the patch on my one node cluster on master branch where
block cache was disabled and rest all the configurations are almost equal to
default values.
