Attaching the initial patch. After the patch, we could get metrics like:

"rpcGetRequestCount" : 41154549,
"rpcScanRequestCount" : 2746864392,
"rpcMultiRequestCount" : 794502786,
"rpcMutateRequestCount" : 1675475,

And could monitor QPS of different types of requests as shown in the attached
screenshot
