Go for it. In another issue we can work out if we should make it default.
I got back to testing this. Master branch is failing ITBLL so I tried branch-1.
If it passed I could backport but that is failing for me too... even 1.2. I
need to fix this before I can test your stuff. Meantime, lets not let the patch
rot. File another issue to make it default and it should be predicated on
passing basic cluster ITBLL... which I'm on.
