Well, for me the approach to change sources to use shaded packages instead of
making shading on the final artifact creation is questionable. It makes source
code navigation painful. And does it works well with IDEs with a simple
scenario like load sources into IDE and run unit tests there. I have some
doubts that it would work without additional manipulations like building
protocol package first and publish it into local repository.
