Patch for master just adds test to prove this actually works, changes logging
so it is easier to find prefetch in action and then adds a section to the
prefetch doc on how to find prefetch in action.
The patches for branch-1 do not include the doc change.
The patch for branch-1.2 is just the logging changes so easy to find prefetch
(hope you don't mind [~busbey])
