Before taking the snapshot we try to get the flushSize(). We get the tail
element's size. After snapshot is taken the tail element is what snapshotted
and we should have the same size in this case. But if there is a compaction
happening and we replace the pipeline with one element will that size
calculation still valid and need to see if it works in MultiThreaded mode.
