Lars George reopened HBASE-13928:

[~gsbiju] is right, the added {{hbase-default.xml}} key is wrong, and never
used. It is missing the {{.bucket.}} as mentioned and should be reading
{{hbase.bucketcache.bucket.sizes}}. Only then an operator can set the sizes.
The wrong property is misleading at most, but needs fixing anyways.
