[~eclark] [~anoop.hbase] Thanks for the comments. As mentioned by [~enis] I did
some perf testing using YCSB. The perf penalty was about 3%. I attached the
excel sheet here. Will prototype the idea of carrying metric reference in
HRegion opening and passing it down.
