Pardon the crappy patch. Thanks for the reviews (yeah, I did not notice that
there already a default).
Once this gets a +1 and goes in, will backport to 1.3. Not sure about
backporting to 1.2 since it already has a few point releases. I can.
And on HBASE-15971 in general, would be good to get 3rd party confirmation it
makes as much difference as claimed since another tester sees a small
improvement only, not the amount I claim.
