Doug Meil updated HBASE-4930:
-----------------------------
Attachment: faq.html
The reason I'm pointing out the FAQ is because of the reorg I did on it
yesterday. I'm attaching a generated version of it (though it's not on the
site yet). I'm keeping the questions "larger" and I want to minimize clutter
on it and treat it as a "mini-index".
2 other categories I want to add to the FAQ are "map reduce" and "getting
involved".
Question: should I mention "NoSQL" on the home page?

> Reformat the HBase home page. It's not a radical redesign but breaks the
> information that is there into clearer sections:
> * Welcome to HBase! (it's always good to be polite to the reader)
> * When Should I Use HBase?
> * Features
> * How Can I Get More Information?
> * News
> I also updated the feature-list in this page (added some things, clarified a
> few things, removed one or two things)
> Note: I just overhauled the FAQ in the book today as well.
