Ashish Singhi commented on HBASE-16672:
---------------------------------------

One doubt here, pardon me I haven't went through backup design yet.
What I understand is backup of data will be stored on another cluster. On
restore, the data will be transferred from backup cluster to the main cluster
so there will be two different FS involved, so data will finally be copied to
source cluster, it will not be renamed.
Is my understanding correct ?

> Add option for bulk load to copy hfile(s) instead of renaming

> This is related to HBASE-14417, to support incrementally restoring to
> multiple destinations, this issue adds option which would always copy
> hfile(s) during bulk load.
