Wait. Isn't this all doable with just a raw-scan? [~jongray], [~jamestaylor],
[~ghelmling]?
I was just about to make a patch against trunk and found that this would lead
to behavior as a raw scan.
A raw scan can be handed a filter and that filter would always see all Cells
(deleted and all columns as well).
