This could act as a parent JIRA for optimizing flush/compaction in terms of
speed,algo and GC generated by these operations. Even if we have offheap
memstore there are some places where flushes/compaction impacts GC and also
there are some low hanging fruits which could be tweaked to overall improve
flush/compaction performance.
