Duo Zhang commented on HBASE-16417:
-----------------------------------
KeyValue has extra fields other than value, such as the rowkey, family,
qualifier and timestamp etc. So a larger size for WAL is expected. You can
increase the value size to see if it is still 2 times larger. The overhead
should be a fixed value if you only change the value size.
And it is not expected to have a small WAL size for AsyncFSWAL. There must be
something wrong. Need check it. Need a UT to reproduce it first I think.
Thanks.
