We dont need BC for the write path. Ya we will need some doc on how to enable
it. Let me write as a combined release notes here. (Though individual jiras
say on that item how to do). Let me see the google docs.. May be some
comments yet to close and some cleanup after the final patches went in. (I did
some parts of that few weeks back).
Sure blog is coming soon.. Taking some perf readings and charts for that. Am
on that this week.
