hurm. is there a pre-existing Pair or 2 Tuple, or similar we could use? would
that even be less awkward than this...
Even if we need to keep the wrapper classes, would it be better to still take
arbitrary RDDs and a transforming function with destination of the wrappers?
(I'll try to clear up my mulling over this while you work on the other pieces
of review feedback)
