Xiang Li commented on HBASE-17878:
----------------------------------
Thanks [~steve_l] for the comment!
To all: I am closing this JIRA as a dup of HBASE-15199.
There is a more easy/quick way (than HBASE-15199) to bypass the problem
addressed by this JIRA, but TRICKY and NOT STABLE: move hadoop-mapreduce dir
to be in front of hbase/lib in the hbase classpath, or add joda-time 2.8.1 jar
into hbase/lib and make sure it is in front of jruby-complete in hbase
classpath. Both ways are to contain more than one set of joda-time classes in
the classpath, and just correct the classpath to use the right one, so as
mentioned, NOT RECOMMENDED.
