One more suggestion.
Should we really need the scanner ticket? Can we just pass on list of
memstoreScanners to the getScanners API in STore along with the files over
which scan has to be created. In update readers just create the memstore
scanner on the current memstore and pass it on.
In resetScannerStack add that also to the current list of scanners.
Ensure that before doing that close the older memstoreScanner and then remove
it from the current list of scanners as being done now. I think that will solve
the problem.
Because in the patch that you have given SCannerTicket has to be exposed to
Store.java as it is LimitedPRivate and Coprocs may need to know about that.
Instead passing a list of scanners may be much simpler and easy to comprehend?
