Looks like HBASE-14498 was the culprit. ZookeeperWatcher was keeping a thread
alive for 60 extra sec (90000 * 2/3) after abort, which pushed a lot of medium
tests over the 180 sec timeout boundary.
Pushing your revert patch to master. Should we revert it from other branches
too? Are we seeing failures there too?
