Seems to failing all the time for me using {{mvn clean package 
-Dtest='org.apache.hadoop.hbase.backup.master.*'}} with your patch on top of 
5b42d8195017d21b4343964d14db3deea15d1474 (HEAD of master, as of a short while 
ago). It is the only one which failed for me.

I can also try to dig into it some more once I finish up the other thing I'm 
debugging at the moment :P
