I'm -0 on this. I think only correctness fixes should go into the 0.92 branch.
This is potentially a destabilizing change that "only" improves performance (FB
has special load - no splits, manually controlled compactions, etc). As said on
the mailing list, I'd rather release 0.94 with all the other performance
enhancements in it a bit sooner.
Just my $0.02. It is a nice enhancement... Up to you guys :)
