Did not reviewed the full patch.  But I do have concern over the 2% size 
threshold to make an in memory flush(flatten).  That seems too less and very 
aggressive?   I believe u r proposing this 2% as default. Pls correct if wrong. 
I did not see the patch.    This will make many in memory flush actions and so 
in memory compactions!
