Sorry, reading back through the comment history. Any patch that is back-ported
must be applied release line by release line. So, master, branch-1, branch-1.4,
branch-1.3, branch-1.2, branch-1.1; branch-1.1 is the last in line. Branch-1.1
is also the least urgent, as the next release will likely be the last. I can
manually bring back docs updates for that release. RMs for the other branches
would be more intersted in continued parity with master's structure.
