Josh Elser edited comment on HBASE-19177 at 11/6/17 9:52 PM:
-------------------------------------------------------------

Bumping to maven-site-plugin 3.6 and fluido-skin 1.6 got the site to generate
(after the changes stated
https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-site-plugin/migrate.html), but the
hamburger menu doesn't render on my mobile. I haven't figured out a way to make
get the mobile rendering locally (yet), but it seems like this isn't a
quick-fix. Will keep it on the back-burner.

> Determine if custom maven-fluido-skin jar is still necessary

> To get a fancy, mobile-friendly website, HBASE-14785 introduced a patched
> version of the maven-fluido-skin and committed the pre-built jar into our
> release.
> A few folks have noticed this jar lurking around the 2.0.0 alpha releases. By
> version number, it doesn't seem like we'd need to have this anymore (and can
> use the newest version).
> Let's check it out.
