Josh Elser commented on HBASE-18943:
------------------------------------

I see that hbase-server still contains some vestiges of Jetty classes. What
about we pull those out of HMaster, shove a wrapper into hbase-http, and then
shade+relocate Jetty into hbase-http?

I'm open to other suggestions on how to fix this.

[~appy], do you have any inputs?

> When starting mini dfs cluster against hadoop-3:
> {code}
>       dfsCluster = startMiniDFSCluster(numDataNodes, dataNodeHosts);
> {code}
> The above call would end up with:
> {code}
> java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
> org.eclipse.jetty.server.session.SessionHandler.getSessionManager()Lorg/eclipse/jetty/server/SessionManager;
>   at org.apache.hadoop.hbase.client.TestHCM.setUpBeforeClass(TestHCM.java:251)
> {code}
