Committed to master and branch-2
Patch didn't apply to branch-2 because of widely different poms, so created new
one from scratch.
Here's the output of {{./dev-support/hbase_nightly_source-artifact.sh}} script
on apache/branch-2 (created new repo to test time, jic :) )

Everything looks as expected.
Follow the ref guide section on making a RC: Step 8 Build the binary tarball.
Building a binary tarball from the source tarball succeeded.
