Anastasia Braginsky commented on HBASE-19133:
---------------------------------------------
Hi All,
First of all I want to introduce you Gali Sheffi ([~galish])! Gali joined us
working on HBase and will help us with some patches, which is very exciting!
Gali is currently working under my supervision, but we all are going to review.
Gali has prepared the patch for this JIRA, she is still learning the HBase
internals. Welcome Gali!
Thanks,
Anastasia
> Transfer big cells or upserted/appended cells into MSLAB upon flattening to

> CellChunkMap Segment index requires all cell data to be written in the MSLAB
> Chunks. Eventhough MSLAB is enabled, cells bigger than chunk size or
> upserted/incremented/appended cells are still allocated on the JVM stack. If
> such cells are found in the process of flattening into CellChunkMap
> (in-memory-flush) they need to be copied into MSLAB.
