Hey, I am not sure this is the correct place, but just wanted to update you
that under HBASE-19282 I am changing the default of MemStore's ImmutableSegment
to automatically use CellChunkMap (CCM) as an index (CellSet) in case when
MSLAB usage is configured (on-heap or off-heap). Alternatively, CellArrayMap
index is going to be automatically used when no MSLAB is defined. This is based
on recent benchmarking with CCM that we have done. No specific actions from
user are required. If you want to comment on that or get some details, please
visit HBASE-19282.
