Any update on this one? We could use this as well. I can help out with
backend, though it looks like the patch Matteo put up already has most of the
backend there already. Only thing that we might want to change is to use the
new interfaces that have come out since then, like ReplicationQueuesClient, so
it's agnostic of implementation (zk or table-based)
