FYI, running ITs that way is contrary to maven best practices.

Unit tests run at the test phase, ITs are supposed to be run with {{mvn 
verify}}, are specified using {{-Dit.test=}} on the command line, and generally 
configured using the failsafe plugin. It may work to run them using surefire, 
or it may not.
