Shouldn't there be a formatter.row call or a puts? This command does not output
anything on an hbase-2.0.0-beta-1 that I tried.
Improvement ideas:
* a wait_for_compaction_to_complete call is what we could better make use of;
polling this thingy is also one solution but why not make it correctly?
* please add documentation about what it outputs (the format)
