Verified this locally on master. Thanks, [~brfrn169]. The cherry-pick comes
back cleanly – didn't verify the fix though on any other branches.
[~stack], would you like for branch-2.0?
[~apurtell] and [~toffer], same for your respective branches? (don't want to
impede your release processes)
