Unfortunately, under HBASE-19282 we have disabled the option to configure the
type of index externally. :( I mean we removed
public static final String COMPACTING_MEMSTORE_INDEX_KEY =
"hbase.hregion.compacting.memstore.index";
And currently we can only change the code, compile and deploy. I am attaching a
patch to fix it here. I will commit the change little later. If patch is
applied you can set hbase.hregion.compacting.memstore.index to ARRAY_MAP in
hbase-site.
Going to look on the results.
