blast it. {{hbase-spark-it}} is busted. it fails before your patch as well, so
I don't think it's something that was done here. but I don't want to commit
without verifying that things work end-to-end with this in place.
filed HBASE-20336, haven't had a chance to triage it yet. probably will get to
it last this week / early next week if no one else gets there first.
